2018. A time when the world is ran by social media and those that are using it. With everyone constantly tuned into their media platform of choice to check out the latest and newest, sometimes its a relief to get away from it all. Virginia native, Pariyah is doing just that. The 23 year old label head/artist is back with his new-age trap anthem, "M.I.A." Pariyah who embraces being a self proclaimed loner, says the premise around his new song is just about him going off of the grid to focus on his progress. He believes that often we get caught up in what is going on in the lives of others that we don't focus enough on ourselves. I couldn't agree more. M.I.A. is jamming too. This slapper is equipped with powerful lyrics and trunk thumping production that will keep you nodding uncontrollably whether you are on or staying low off of the grid. Fall into the new single today!

In this rendition of Childish Gambino’s sensational hit “This Is America”, Nicole Arbour takes the stage to share the perspective of women and the variety of social, economical, and psychological injustices women can experience in their lifetime. She further pushes the boundaries by invoking similar thought-provoking imagery and combines them with several incendiary stereotypes to serve as a general expectation from woman. Coupled with the fact that this type of song brazenly opens the dialogue of oppression shared by another social class falls directly into the heart and soul of hip-hop. A social commentary that exposes not only the weakness we have as a society, but also the weakness we have toward each other. The presentation of this message also underlines the most significant aspect of this song, which is the empowerment of women by being aware of it. For Nicole Arbour, it’s not just a matter of showcasing talent and creating content that resonates with it’s audience, but an instilled lasting impression that allows us to explore this complex theme. It’s the type of performance that can be taken to multiple levels and the raw energy of it is palpable.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. For 23 year old super talent Pariyah, Karma is best served through a couple of sixteens and a hook. The Norfolk, Virginia do it youself native wears many hats to see his vision through. He is the label head at Langley Jourdain Records which he established in 2017. The self described loner and outcast, hence the name, also engineers and produces his own work, so saying the multi talented rapper has an ear for music is an understatement.
Pariyah is back this time around with his new single "Karma" and he is speaking to anyone who has gone through a bitter break up. The up tempo, guitar laced, oh how the tables have turned anthem is reminiscent of Kanye West in the 808 and Heartbreak days, gives off a great vibe as you listen and get over your former love. The seven year vet shows that what goes around truly comes back around and a little heartache can bring out much greatness in you.

Florida has been a hot bed for hip hop talent recently, led by Kodak Black and XXXTentacíon. Since, we've seen a number of new artists emerge out of south Florida and may be looking at the next phenomenon. KV Infinity, sliding onto the music scene out of Hallandale, Fla. is a six member group(LimboKV, LunaryKV, ManiiKV, NintiKV, VozziKV, and YoungkikeKV) looking to take the game by storm with their new single "Candy." The song has a nice jazzy groove, but still knocks coming through your speakers that will have your head bobbing uncontrollably. The track, which was produced by the groups own ManiiKV also has a catchy hook that you'll find yourself singing hours after the is over. KV Infinity's unity and crew love for one another puts me in the mind of other mega groups like ASAP Mob and Odd Future. "Candy" is the first single off of their upcoming mixtape, INFINITY and if it is any indication of what we can expect from this squad, I'd imagine they will develop a cult core like the aforementioned groups in no time.

C.Cappo and Loki are both masked up and looking to "Bust Down" anything standing in their ways. Cappo, a native of Pennsylvania, simply put is a monster when it comes to this rap thing. Over a highly intensive instrumental, the deranged duo spazz out for a little over three minutes straight. This isn't the first time we've heard from C.Cappo and Loki. For those unfamiliar, the two also paired together on the Syndrom produced, "Ridiculous".

It's a Chicago affair as Urban Grind TV (Fubu Network) presents "Players" from Chief Apache. The macalicious production is provided by TeamPackBack affiliate producer, Ill Brown.
The long haired pimp proclaims his reign to that of the Martin Lawrence character Jerome aka The Playa From The Himalayas. Not to be laughed at however, this Windy City player was raised by the west and south side gangsters, hustlers and thugs. He makes this well known thru the video as he lays it all down with a buttery delivery. He also speaks about the player lifestyle and can be seen multiple times riding with his dimes dropping game on them. Ill Brown provides the saucy, seventies fueled pimp music that carries audio clips from the most notorious pimping movie known to man, "The Mack". Chief Apache also interpolates Curtis Mayfield's "Diamond in the Back" into a newly rendered bridge in the song. The video was premiered thru Urban Grind TV, who also recently interviewed the rapper. "Players" is the lead single from Apache's forthcoming album, "Slick Talk". -Barry Quigley
