No matter what production she’s singing over, Faith Walker’s vocals stick out like a diamond in the ruff. Sharp and effulgent, these harmonies will spin celestially between your headphones, with the final effect being your “Head In The Clouds”. With that being said, these Los Angeles-born/Toronto-raised songstress couldn’t have titled her EP better.

Embarking on this album destines you for an cottony, R&B joyride. Not only does Faith prove magical with her singing; but her command of the early-2000 aesthetic of R&B is equally top notch. She glides soulfully, wafting through production that forwards heavy-hitting drums, and guitar-tinged, chord-waving instrumentation. These elements give “Head In The Clouds” a musical purity and authenticity that is impossible to ignore. Soar into songs such as the title track, as well as “Love By Now”, “Catch My Heart” (feat. Orion Tukal), and “Enough Of Your Love” and the beauty of this album will illuminate; deeming Faith Walker a beacon for the indie R&B circuit. For, if one thing can be concluded from listening to “Head In The Clouds”, it is that this amorous woman is destined for astronomical stardom.

“You see the haters coming?! You hear the hate?!” They have made a legacy out of championing success. Albeit before, they leaned in a financial direction, with their latest single, Koinda Records is spotlighting a different avenue of accomplishment. Charged by the energetically phenomenal emcee, Ace Burns (who heads the label), Koinda presents “Boss Fit”— an anthemic banger aimed to push the ladies through their fall flexes and winter workouts, closing 2019.

Yes, essentially, “Boss Fit” is a gym smash; dedicated particularly to health/fitness and physical achievement. It sports a spirited, almost electronic melody that is boomed by 808s and trap percussions. Ace Burns blends seamlessly into this See See Beats-produced world of sounds with an even greater blitz of power; delivering a torrent of well-timed, motivating rhymes. Perhaps the biggest gym anthem since Kanye West’s “Workout Plan”, “Boss Fit” is a titanic tribute to female trainers and trainees worldwide. Likewise, it is another push for Ace Burns, and his Koinda imprint, towards spreading inspiration, with zero hesitation, across the globe.

It is utterly insane how electric Jetcity Records can make a twenty-two track project sound. With their long-awaited debut, “Welcome To Jet City”, this high-flying Hip-Hop collective takes compilation albums to new, modern-trap heights.

Peep the sweet video interview with JetCity Records:

Almost every track on “Welcome To Jet City” is a profound posse cut. Loco 2k, Nucky JMC, Rup Monsta, Skyler, Big Ox, Aye Michelle, and Ag Souljah are the prominent pyromaniacs of the album; blazing through hooks and verses with lyricism and inflections that keep the energy at an all time high. What is likewise captivating about “Welcome To Jet City” is that it is not a constant stream of original content. Rocking the ride, every now and then, is the turbulence of mainstream remixes. “Thotiana” by Blueface; “Lil Bebe” by Danileigh; “Middle Child” by J Cole; “Going Bad” by Meek Mill and Drake; each one of these records are terrifically remixed by the talents on this album, steering it into clouds of spontaneous exhilaration. Certainly, “Welcome To Jet City” may intimidate you with the length of its tracklist. However, once play is pressed, and the debut opus truly takes off, you will not regret a single song. With such an invigorating list of bangers, this soaring collective simply cannot be shot down.

Are we living a dream or reality? The latest effort by LIV3 FR33, a Los Angeles brand spearheaded by producer-artist, NIU Kno, blurs that line with excellence. For “Life, Is But A Dream”, a compilation album outfitted with nine, lucid tracks, the artist(s) gives the themes of sleep, dreaming, and afterlife, sonic prevalence. Its features lunge from Fatlip, 777Kamikaze and Kay Franklin to Mary Dee, Korryn Gaines and NIU Kno himself, with each one of these artists delivering an idiosyncratic twist to the overall concept of the project. Samples are lush and plentiful; drums frolic in the fields of both trap and boom-bap; and the bars on “Life...” are beyond bewildering. Spin joints such as “Sleepwalking”, “Sunshine”, “Virtual Insanity”, or even the penultimate record “Walk Str8”, and the reverie of life will equivalently reveal itself to you. For “Life, Is But A Dream” is an unavoidable epiphany that LIV3 FR33 flawlessly inspires.

Documentary Filmmaker Al Profit Busts the War on Drugs with "Cocaine Condor" in Episode 4 of "American Dope" on Amazon Prime Video

Free "Cocaine Condor" Viewing on YouTube on Friday the 13th In Recognition of National Recovery Month
Profit has released the fourth episode in his "American Dope" series! "Cocaine Condor,"  fearlessly unhinges and exposes the role of the American government in the illegal trade from the 1930's to present. "Cocaine Condor" will be available as a free 24 hour screening on Friday, September 13, 2019 on Youtube on Profit's channel at http://www.Youtube.com/alprofit, in recognition and support of National Recovery Month. The series is available now on Amazon Prime Video.
Los Angeles - Brazen filmmaker/ director Alan Bradley, better known as Al Profit, has written, produced, directed and edited a dozen explosive documentaries uncovering the most infamous crime conspiracies, including "The Frank Matthews Story," "Killing Jimmy Hoffa," "Motown Mafia," "Rollin'," and "Streets of New York." His most recent contribution to the culture, "American Dope," currently available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video, is a culmination of his in-depth study of the drug game on a global level. A seven-part series consisting of full-length documentaries, Profit has released the fourth episode, "Cocaine Condor."  This fourth installment of the "American Dope" series fearlessly unhinges and exposes the role of the American government in the illegal trade from the 1930's to present.  "Cocaine Condor" debuts on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, September 13, 2019. Profit is also offering a free 24 hour Friday the 13th screening on his YouTube channel at http://www.Youtube.com/alprofit in recognition and support of National Recovery Month

"Cocaine Condor" tackles the political backstory of pop-culture touchstones such as "Narcos," "Cocaine Cowboys," and the "Freeway Rick Ross Contra-CIA Scandal."  Asserting truths far stranger than fiction, "Cocaine Condor" is an explicitly disturbing reveal.  With research impeccably sourced from congressional archives, major mainstream media outlets like the New York Times,  interviews from Michael Levine, the most decorated undercover agent in DEA history, as well as Douglas Valentine , a journalist who has interviewed more Federal drug agents than anyone, and Courtney Brown, Jr , the son of a Detroit kingpin, Chapter 4 of "American Dope" is a bust on propagated misinformation fed to the public for decades.

American Dope Ep. 4 | Al Profit

Focusing on "Operation Condor," the secret American program to support right wing political leaders south of the border and protect American business interests, "Cocaine Condor" explores how this effort resulted in a widespread flood of cheap drugs washing across the U.S. and causing the so-called "crack epidemic."

"All the conspiracy theories about the U.S. Government and illegal drugs are not only true, they are even worse than you can imagine," asserts Profit. "I decided to make the "Cocaine Condor" episode available for free viewing for a day on YouTube because I wanted everyone to have access to this information and Friday the 13 th seemed like the perfect date to drop this bomb of information. Just think about it, we might never have needed a National Recovery Month if these exploits had never happened! I'm extremely excited about the entire 'American Dope series. When completed, it will be an all-inclusive encyclopedia on the notorious history of drug trafficking in this nation."

"American Dope" launched with Chapter 1, "Cold War, Heroin Heat," a tale of corruption stretching from 1920's Shanghai through to the Vietnam War and onto the streets of New York, circa 1970. Profit uncovers how the U.S. Government allowed Asian and European criminal syndicates to ravage the American population with heroin in exchange for supporting capitalism.

Chapter 2, "Acid Dreams," is a 'trip' to the 1950's and 60's when all across the country, from Harvard to Hollywood, people were experimenting with hallucinogens. This serious tell-tale probes LSD, MK-Ultra, Timothy Leary and the rise of the hippie counterculture.

Chapter 3, "White Powder, Black Power," investigates when the illegal drug economy was one of the most viable capital building tools for African Americans. Similar to the Italians, Irish and Jewish mob families that made fortunes during Prohibition, Black gangsters and their families went from rags to riches with often violent returns on their investments.
