 Ginger Bread Man is back at it with another single, “What The Business Is” in which he goes all in while the transitions accelerate towards a haunting instrumental that’s complimented by deafening beats. From a stylistic perspective, the track has balance that’s inspired by modern trap sounds such as “SurfClub”, amngst other tracks that are melodically driven, while he takes the listener into introspection mode. Tank Nitti also comes through as his skill set shines stupendously.

I must acknowledge that I enjoyed the vocal tone and structure, part of what I think makes Ginger Bread Man a dynamic artist. At some point, I felt like he’s somewhat transcendent talented. Couple that with the production which pulsates with futuristic pop, electronic and trap elements blended into a perfect work of art. The track leaves me with a taste of a seasoned artist who’s about to make an articulation of rap star’s lifestyle.

In today's hip hop world, a song is not usually a hit without a dance to go along with it. Songs like Soulja Boy's "Crank That" or 3rd Flo "Do the Heisman" are pioneers and standout tracks amongst many in the song and dance era of hip hop. Many of those artists became one hit wonders while others prove that they can last the test of time. The Official GS Boyz or more explicitly known as the G Spot Boyz have proven to be part of the latter. In 2008, the GS Boyz gave us two smashes out of the gate. The Arlington, Texas natives formed the group in 2005 independently and three years and over 1 million records sold later, they were receiving interest from industry big dogs like RCA and Sony. 

 Now, the GS Boyz are back after a brief hiatus with their new single "Off Top." "Off Top" is a different sound from when we last heard the group, but packs the same anthem potential. The hard slapping bass quakes through you speakers, making it very easy to vibe to. The song has a catchy sing a long hook that will keep you singing it hours after the song has ended, with sharp lyrical verses to make "Off Top" a complete hit.

It's much deeper than music, this is a movement. Elo. doesn't need the backing of industry honchos to get his message out and be heard. The wait is over for Grand National Ink after the diverse group from Chicago rolled out “Big Wheels” Video. The video was released by UGTV on Comcast and the group’s website GrandNationalInk.com. The irresistible and catchy hook coupled by the melodic flow is bound to engage the listener. Grand National Ink, consisting of Hec Nation & FM, capitalizes on the strengths of its artists’ diversity to produce profound bangers. The appealing sonics and strong-armed lyricism showcased in this video is satisfying for listeners who appreciate enriched variety. This banger is digestible and precise, thus retaining the listener’s attention, as it offers crafted rhymes that are extremely rewind-worthy. 

The group is set to perform at the Midwest Fest & SCM Awards in Memphis in May, be sure to check them out. This track is a fun ride, giving you a dose of that relatable rap.

Tut Moses is back at it with some new-age trap, and his latest hit single - Justified- is the epitome of such Hip Hop. Tut jumps out on the Bias produced beat with an intense, staccato cadence that is impressive to both naysayers and fans. His high-register delivery over Bias' canvas, reminds me of the minimalist production style we’ve seen with Drake’s resident engineer. The chorus has enough buoyancy to inspire a dab session with the crew and also the perfect amount of smoothness to garner heavy rotation on a Cali joy ride. 

The artist has shown some rapid progress with his soul-grabbing ability to infuse the traditional lyrical flair on the vibrant track. It is very easy to resonate with this artist as he touches on everyday stuff that we can all relate to, while yet remaining sharp on the mic. Tut has done an amazing job as he searches for ways to engage emotions with his vocal tone on the beats. Tut’s music is compelling as he easily positions himself at the forefront of the next wave.

A-town looks like we have another one! Fresh out of the hot bed of Atlanta, GA comes a new trippy sound from an eccentric artist, Frylock Jacques. Frylock bring us his new 5-track banger, Outerspace EP. This ATLien's project is consistent with a spacey, hard hitting production to match his out of orbit melodic style. 

Frylock makes reference to space often on the project, which he says is a metaphor for marijuana. Jacques says marijuana medication and staring at the stars played an intricate part in his creative process. The entire project was actually recording by a makeshift studio that he setup in his Saturn car, that allowed him to roll around, smoke, and record!

Jizzel Tha Gee dropped another video, “Just Win”, in his attempt to foster an ineradicable legacy. ‘Only thing I’ve got in my mind is just win,’ he rips seriously on the intro. The beat sounds dope and the hook is something else! The track has a heavy thug motivation giving you that West Coast bounce. 

In the beginning he sounds as if he is trying to sing but he later goes all the way in. Jizzel underscores his intent to use music to bring forth vision and understanding with a winning mentality. C.Cappo and Loki are both masked up and looking to "Bust Down" anything standing in their ways. Cappo, a native of Pennsylvania, simply put is a monster when it comes to this rap thing. Over a highly intensive instrumental, the deranged duo spazz out for a little over three minutes straight. This isn't the first time we've heard from C.Cappo and Loki. For those unfamiliar, the two also paired together on the Syndrom produced, "Ridiculous". 

Representing the PA area of Reading, Cappo holds back no punches whatsoever as he candidly details robbery exploits and dirty deeds over the chilling, child like piano keys. They take turns explaining how they turn homicides into apparent suicide scenes, something out of a chilling crime thriller with Cappo and Loki playing the main villains. The rising rappers enjoy mobster history and have expensive tastes they are determined to fulfill one day.
