What hits you right away with LaLa's new album "JazZy LaLa" is everything! The overall theme of the project is definitely smooth and flows thoughout. All the instruments sound so amazing. The marriage of jazz, hiphop, and poetry is very strong here. LaLa's writing and delivery is refreshing as he effortlessly flips from rapping and singing.

Shawn Ayala, aka LaLa, is a 26 year old multi-genre rapper, vocalist, song-writer and musician. His unique style of combining different worlds of music together to create a new, intriguing sound has been attracting local and national interest as he continues to push the limit of what we currently refer to as "genres."
After being noticed from one of his songs he uploaded to youtube in 2009, LaLa started working under Dahn Jackson's management. He quickly rose up the performance latter after his first all-age show at a small local restaurant. With over 60+ performances ranging from local downtown restaurants to opening up for major mainstream artists, LaLa takes the most pride in his headlining shows, in which is HIS shows, HIS fans.
